Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) – Curriculum Overview
 

The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme is designed in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) guidelines and aims to provide students with a strong foundation in computer science, programming, software development, and emerging technologies.

 

The curriculum follows a multidisciplinary and outcome-based approach that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical learning, skill development, and value-based education. The programme prepares students for careers in software development, data analytics, web and mobile application development, networking, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and higher education.

The first year consists of Semester I and Semester II with 22 credits each, making a total of 44 credits, in accordance with NEP regulations. Students completing the required credits are eligible for the UG Certificate Exit Option as prescribed under the NEP frame
