MCA PROGRAMME

MCA Admission

First Year MCA Admission
For Maharashtra State, All India, Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, and Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant candidates

Applicants must be Citizens of India and hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline, such as B.E., B.Tech., B.Sc., B.Com., B.A., B.Voc., BCA, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Candidates should have studied Mathematics either at the 10+2 level or during graduation (preferred) and must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates belonging to Reserved Categories, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) from Maharashtra State are eligible with a minimum of 45% marks. In addition, applicants must have obtained a non-zero score in the MAH-MCA CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

For NRI, OCI, PIO, Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries, and Foreign National candidates, 
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university, preferably with Mathematics studied at the 10+2 level or during graduation, and must have secured at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates are also required to satisfy any additional eligibility requirements prescribed by the appropriate authority from time to time.
Second Year MCA Admission (Lateral Entry)

For Maharashtra State and All India candidates seeking direct admission to the second year of the MCA program, applicants must be Citizens of India and should have successfully completed a B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), a B.E./B.Tech. in Information Technology (IT), or a four-year Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) from a recognized institution. Candidates must also fulfill any additional eligibility criteria as prescribed by the appropriate authority from time to time.

Important Note: Admissions are conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Government of Maharashtra, the State Common Entrance Test Cell, and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The eligibility criteria are subject to revision as per the latest notifications issued by the competent authorities.

Documents Required for Admission

Candidates are required to submit the following documents (originals along with self-attested photocopies) at the time of admission:

  1. CAP Seat Allotment Letter issued by the CET Cell (for CAP admission candidates only).

  2. SSC (10th) Mark Sheet and Passing Certificate.

  3. HSC (12th) Mark Sheet and Passing Certificate.

  4. MAH MCA CET Score Card.

  5. Graduation Mark Sheets (all semesters/years).

  6. Degree Certificate or Provisional Degree Certificate.

  7. University Passing Certificate (if applicable).

  8. Transfer Certificate (TC) or Leaving Certificate (LC).

  9. Migration Certificate (for candidates from other universities).

  10. Equivalence Certificate (for candidates from universities outside Maharashtra or foreign universities, if applicable).

  11. Caste Certificate (for candidates belonging to reserved categories).

  12. Caste Validity Certificate (applicable to SC, ST, VJ/DT, NT-A, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D, OBC, and SBC candidates).

  13. Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (valid up to the prescribed date as per the admission notification) for VJ/DT-NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), SBC, SEBC, and OBC candidates.

  14. Proforma A, Proforma B, Proforma G1, or Proforma G2, as applicable, for candidates under Type C, D, and E categories.

  15. Relevant supporting certificates for Defence (Def-1, Def-2, Def-3), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Jammu & Kashmir Migrant, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and other applicable categories, as specified in the Government of Maharashtra admission brochure.

  16. Self-attested photocopy of Aadhaar Card.
     

Note: Candidates should carry all original documents along with multiple sets of self-attested photocopies at the time of admission. Additional documents, if required by the Admission Authority or Government of Maharashtra, must be submitted as per the latest admission guidelines.
